dsklghsfkjI FUCKING LOVE THIS PICTURE.
This is a mini poster that I worked on of Lindsey Way, or "Lyn-Z", the bassist of Mindless Self Indulgence for my pen & ink class. I stayed up until five in the morning working on this XD I have had this picture of Lindsey on my computer for a while now, and I have always wanted to draw it. It is from an interview she had with Kerrang! magazine, asking her how she dealt with being married to a certain lead singer from a certain awesome band.
I think it is completely ridiculous and utterly stupid that she gets so much flack and hate from fans, just because she is married to Gerard Way, or that some fans only like her because of their marriage. She was Lyn-Z before they married, and she is still Lyn-Z after the fact. All I know is that she is an amazing bassist for an amazing band, a beautiful woman, a fantastic artist, and a wonderful mother trying her best to raise her daughter in such a fucked up world.
I respect her completely for not throwing away her identity when he placed that ring on her finger. We need more women like her in the world
